Isaac le pirate
La librairie Nation à Paris a trente ans cette année, et pour fêter ça , ils m'ont confié la réalisation de cette statuette d'Isaac le pirate. Nous avons pris le parti, avec Christophe Blain, de laisser cette sculpture dans son aspect brut: l'auteur a pensé que ce traitement était celui qui correspondait le mieux au dessin dont je me suis inspiré. Le coté marrant, c'est que je me suis aperçu qu'en fin de compte j'avais sculpté un dessinateur... peut-être en a-t-il profité pour faire mon portrait pendant ce temps-là ?!
